A Flemington, New Jersey-based electronics manufacturer, is seeking a Materials & ERP Manager to join its dedicated world-class team.  this company competes in a worldwide marketplace and addresses a broad range of applications, including: electric vehicle powertrain development and manufacturing, particle accelerators, semiconductor fabrication, cutting-edge energy research, national defense, among many others.

Responsibilities
  • Manage master data and MRP/MPS configuration, maintain item attributes, lead times, ROL/Kanban settings, and routings; pilot and roll out MRP/MPS to all class codes.
  • Plan and release production & purchase orders that meet customer demand while optimizing capacity, inventory, and cash.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy by overseeing cycle-count programs and all stockroom transactions; drive root-cause analysis for variances.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Production Planner and stockroom personnel; set objectives, evaluate performance, and build cross-training depth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, and Engineering to align schedules, resolve shortages, and support NPI.
  • Drive resolution of material and process non-conformances, managing the NPR workflow, lead cross-functional root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions that eliminate repeat issues.
  • Manage revision changes and prototype gating, activate new part revisions, shepherd prototypes through the approved workflow, and confirm all documentation, approvals, and BOM updates before full production.
  • Drive continuous improvement, identify cost-reduction opportunities, streamline material flow, and champion lean/5S initiatives.
  • Report KPIs (OTIF, inventory turns, schedule adherence) and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years in materials planning, production control, or supply-chain management within a manufacturing environment; prior ERP/MRP ownership required.
  • Demonstrated success launching or optimizing MRP/MPS modules and governing item-master data.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems data-analysis skills.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, inventory-management methodologies (kanban, min/max, costing methods), and BOM/routing structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management abilities; able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communicator who builds relationships across purchasing, production, engineering, and leadership teams.
  • Leadership mentality, coaches others, drives accountability, and delivers results.
