Performs simple, repetitive, production-line, short-cycle assembly requiring adjusting and fitting where tolerances are established.

• Cut the hose according to the length specifications
• Assemble fittings, crimp sleeves, and adapters on the hose
• Use a pneumatic assembly machine to insert the fitting.
• Use a crimp machine to permanently affix the hose fitting
• Safely operate this equipment with moving parts (apply mechanical knowledge and safety)
• Perform all required tests and measurements
  • Measure length w/ rule or tape measure (inches, fractions of inches)
  • Measure crimp diameter w/ digital caliper (comfortable w/ decimals)
• Do WIP (work in process) inspections on components and assemblies
• Box for shipment to customer when applicable
• Records hours expended in the Daily Time Allocation/Production Cards
• Maintains the equipment, workplaces, and the general area in a neat and orderly manner
• Complies with OSHA and EPA regulations
