Customer Service

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for interacting with customers and providing timely responses to their inquiries.

  • Generating quotations
  • Providing phone and email support to customers with general inquiries and questions
  • Receiving, processing, and verifying the accuracy of orders from customers
  • Utilizing the organization’s internal CRM/ERP system to compile customer orders
  • Communicating effectively with the Sales Team and the Production Team, informing and updating them regularly to ensure that sales and customer objectives are met
  • Compiling and maintaining all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
  • Following systems and procedures as outlined in company training
  • Maintaining departmental housekeeping standards
  • Initiating required action for responding to customer service requests for order changes, maintenance of order/customer information files, and communicating changes to the appropriate personnel/departments
  • Accessing the company’s internal systems to obtain and extract order information and provide it to customers
  • Performing maintenance on various electronic data files and formats
  • Identifying customer requirements and providing application assistance to customers
  • Organizing workflow to meet customer deadlines
  • Managing telephone calls professionally, efficiently, and with good communication skills
  • Attending to customer questions, complaints, and concerns in a timely manner and facilitating satisfactory resolution
  • Understanding and appropriately using the company pricing system and policies
  • Reviewing estimates and invoices for accuracy
  • Reporting to the customer service manager
  • 3+ year of customer service experience desired
  • Strong customer service orientation, striving to exceed customer expectations
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and demonstrate respect for co-workers
  • Good technical aptitude and mechanical understanding required
  • Strong MS Office Computer Skills and Quick Books experience preferable
  • France/German language skills are a plus, but certainly not required.
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic math skills (weights, pricing, etc.)
