Description

We are seeking a mechanically inclined and dependable individual to join our team as a Tool Maintenance & Inspection Technician. This position inspects tools and equipment to ensure they function properly and meet safety standards, and performs cleaning, light repairs, and general maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and maintaining tools. The ability to work well with others, follow instructions, and take direction is essential.

Responsibilities

Inspect tools and equipment for proper function and safe operation.
Identify damaged, worn, or defective tools and equipment.
Perform cleaning and routine maintenance on tools.
Complete light repairs and adjustments as needed.
Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
Ensure tools are properly maintained and ready for use.
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Communicate any equipment issues or safety concerns to management.
Work cooperatively with team members and assist with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Mechanically inclined with a strong interest in hands-on work.
Basic understanding of tools, equipment, and mechanical systems.
Ability to identify potential safety or operational issues.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
Dependable and punctual.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous experience with tool repair, equipment maintenance, mechanical work, or a similar environment is a plus, but not required.
